At Lamoreaux Horses, we believe that exceptional horses start with exceptional mares. Our broodmares are more than just producers—they’re trusted ranch partners, quiet leaders in the pasture, and true examples of the temperament and athleticism we aim to pass on to every foal we raise.
Each of these mares carries strong Driftwood bloodlines, known for sound minds, strong bodies, and dependable ranch versatility. They’re also some of the most gentle, kind-hearted horses you’ll ever meet.

Ritzy is the matriarch of our herd—reliable, steady, and always attentive to her foals. She's a proven producer of quiet-minded, easy-starting colts and fillies with a natural sense of balance and cow sense. Her babies make ideal partners for both ranch and arena work.

Maggie is the kind of mare you trust with anything. She passes along her good bone, level head, and solid work ethic to every baby she raises. A favorite among visitors for her beauty and calm nature, Maggie is a cornerstone of our program.

Temperament: Smart, gentle, quietly confident
Age: 8
Jackie may be one of our younger broodmares, but she’s proving herself with each colt she raises. With her beautiful movement and natural softness, she puts together some of our most versatile prospects—easy to handle, athletic, and good-minded.

Temperament: Friendly, curious, and stunning
Age: 4
BB is one to watch! She’s growing up with all the qualities we look for in a great broodmare—good bone, a beautiful build, kind eyes, and strong Driftwood influence. We’re excited to see her future unfold here at Lamoreaux Horses.
